VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A fire in the Dam Neck area of Virginia Beach displaced one man on Feb. 26, according to officials.
Virginia Beach Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services units responded to the 1100 block of Loveland Lane around 10:47 p.m.

When crews arrived on scene at 10:51 p.m., they observed heavy smoke and flames from the garage of the single-story home.
Firefighters applied water to the blaze at 10:58 p.m. The fire was brought under control by 11:09 p.m.
No one was home at the time of this incident; however, one adult was displaced.
There were no injuries to civilians, firefighters, or pets, officials said.
The fire was marked out by 11:12 p.m. The origin and cause of the fire are still under investigation.
