Real Madrid star wins Man of the Match after playing just 45 minutes vs Levante

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid secured for himself Man of the Match honours in the club’s latest outing, despite playing just half the fixture.

The player in question? Arda Güler.

Real Madrid were of course back in action a short time ago, welcoming Levante to Spain’s capital for a league clash.

The aforementioned Arda was for his part forced to make do with a spot on the bench from the off at the Santiago Bernabéu.

With 45 minutes on the clock, and his teammates chasing an opening goal, though, the Turkish international was introduced to proceedings.

And safe to say, Arda went on to make his impact very much felt…

Introducing some much-needed guile to Real’s midfield ranks, the 20-year-old created a head-turning eight goalscoring chances.

One gave rise to an assist for Raúl Asencio, whilst another slipped Kylian Mbappé through to win a penalty.

Despite playing only half of the outing, Arda was in turn named the official Man of the Match following the full-time whistle.
