Undercurrent News has just launched a new tool, the global salmon price tracker, which is open until Nov. 24 and is explained in the video below.
The tracker allows users to compare wholesale, or first-sale, farmed prices from various origins in China, Europe and the US.
In addition, users can review in isolation UCN‘s full weekly proprietary wholesale price assessments from China for farmed salmon from various origins, in addition to farmed and wild salmon in the US market.
The platform also houses weekly price assessments for Norwegian salmon, FCA Oslo, Chilean salmon for Brazil and Scottish salmon delivered to UK factories.
Additionally, the tracker provides prices for farmed salmon from multiple origins in major EU wholesale markets in France, Italy and Spain.
