The stock market wavered on Tuesday after a pair of headlines knocked some of the wind out of the artificial-intelligence rally’s sails.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 50 points, or 0.1%. The S&P 500 was down 0.2%. The Nasdaq Composite fell 0.4%.
Wall Street bought the dip in key AI stocks like Nvidia on Monday, but investors learned overnight that SoftBank previously sold its $5.83 billion stake in Nvidia. It concluded its stake in October.
