As soon as it was announced that President Donald Trump was coming to the Detroit Lions-Washington Commanders game this weekend, the question was asked:
Will some of the players hit the famous “Trump dance?”
Lions star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown answered that question in the first quarter.
After scoring to give the Lions a 14-3 lead, St. Brown appeared to point to Trump in his box and then did said dace alongside a few other players, including wide receiver Jameson Williams.

Trump is at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, to take in the Commanders‘ Veteran’s Day celebration and also is reportedly set to appear on the Fox broadcast during the game.
Before the week, several Lions players were asked about Trump being in attendance and the consensus in the locker room seemed to be it would be a cool experience.
“Check that off the list, right?” Lions linebacker Trevor Nowaske said. “That’ll be cool. I did not know he was going to be there, but that’ll be super-cool to have the president. That’ll be something I’ll be able to tell my kids, I played in front of the president. That’ll be sweet.”
This isn’t the first time a Detroit athlete has hit the “Trump dance” during a game this year.
In recognition of the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Trump attended a Sept. 11 game at Yankee Stadium between the New York Yankees and the Detroit Tigers, won by the Yankees, 9-3. That game presented a “unique experience” for many Tigers, as some players even broke out the “Trump dance” after getting on base.
Looks like St. Brown followed the trend.
