SHREVEPORT, Louisiana — The McMurry War Hawks hit the road Saturday to face SCAC opponent Centenary, looking to extend their winning streak.
McMurry entered Saturday’s matchup with a perfect 2-0 record in conference play and a three-game win streak after a slow start to the season.

The War Hawks got out to a hot start, thanks to a strong passing attack.
Quarterback Dylan Plake threw for 386 yards and three touchdowns, including 205 yards and one touchdown for wide receiver Thomas Chandler.
McMurry’s defense held strong, allowing just six points and 289 total yards.
Defensive backs Bryce Neves and Dylon Davis led the way, with Neves tallying two sacks and Davis returning an interception 65 yards for a touchdown.
The War Hawks earned a 52-6 victory to secure their fourth straight victory.
McMurry is back in action November 1 to face Texas Lutheran. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. from Wilford Moore Stadium.
