The Russian Navy and People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) wrapped up their fifth joint naval patrol in the western Pacific, China announced last week. The two countries sailed together for 15 days, with the patrol ending this past Wednesday, Aug. 20. The patrol included Russian Navy destroyer RFS Admiral Tributs (564), PLAN destroyer CNS Shaoxing (134) and fleet oiler CNS Qiandaohu (886).
