US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Tuesday the United States has held “very good talks” with China on tariffs as both sides seek a trade deal during the 90-day pause in tariff implementation.
Speaking to Fox News, Bessent noted that “China is right now the biggest revenue line in the tariff income” and signaled further discussions ahead, saying, “I imagine we will be seeing them again before November.” He added that “the status quo is working pretty well” for now.
