An inclusive summer fashion show is shining a light on abilities in our community. In “Positively Gulf Coast,” Macy’s partnered with STARability at Coastland Center to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The show took place in late July. More than 120 guests attended. The show raised $1,200 through a raffle to benefit STARability. “We are extremely grateful to Macy’s for their incredible partnership and ongoing commitment to inclusivity,” said Madison Nehls, chief program officer at STARability Foundation. STARability also presented a STAR Award to Macy’s in recognition of their outstanding support, inclusive employment opportunities and dedication to empowering individuals of all abilities.
