Miss Hong Kong 2011 and actress Rebecca Zhu recently visited Phu Quoc, voted the world’s second most beautiful island, where she immersed herself in local culture and cuisine.
Hong Kong travel blogger Elpis Lam shared a vlog last week documenting the trip she took with Zhu, showing them visiting several tourist attractions and sampling local food, including Vietnam’s signature banh mi sandwich.
They stopped by Tam Banh Mi stall at the entrance of the Phu Quoc Night Market. This long-standing sidewalk eatery operates from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering a variety of fillings such as grilled meat, fried eggs, and mixed cold cuts.

The duo also dined at Chez Dugong, a seaside restaurant at Sao Beach, known for its pristine white sands and clear turquoise waters.
The restaurant serves a wide selection of fresh seafood including shrimp, squid, fish, and crab.
Zhu was crowned Miss Hong Kong 2011 before being offered a starring role in the 2012 TVB television drama “Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles,” which was also her acting debut. In 2017, Zhu won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2017 TVB Anniversary Awards with her role in the drama “A General, a Scholar, and a Eunuch.”
Phu Quoc, which was voted the world’s second most beautiful island by readers of Travel+Leisure magazine last year after the Maldives, received over 775,000 foreign arrivals in the first five months of this year, up 78.3% year-on-year.
The island aims to attract 1 million foreign visitors in 2025.
