Wyoming Valley Women’s Club members/models recently met at the Avenue Diner in Wyoming to finalize plans for the upcoming fashion show and scholarship fundraiser.
The fashion show will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Holiday Inn, Wilkes-Barre East Mountain, Wildflower Drive, Route 115, Wilkes-Barre. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. with lunch served at 1 p.m.
This event benefits the Women’s Club Annual High School Scholarship Award.
Pre-admission tickets are $30 and are available for purchase. Cost includes a luncheon and fashion show.
Tickets will also be sold for baskets of prizes, which were donated by area businesses and the women of the Wyoming Valley Women’s Club.
Buka, My Sister’s Closet, Rumor Has It and Women’s Boutique will provide outfits and accessories for the models. Models for the fundraiser are Gayle Delano Slezak, model and fashion coordinator; Colleen Mattey; Cathy Beretski; and Kathleen Handley.
