Eric Trump has revealed what younger brother Barron Trump said to Joe Biden at the presidential inauguration in January, moments before Donald Trump‘s scathing inauguration speech against the Biden administration.
Eric, 41, spoke about the viral moment, as well as the speculation surrounding it, while appearing on the Nov. 14 episode of The Megyn Kelly Show.
“Do you remember that whole controversy where [Barron] went up to Biden … and [the media] had all these like lip-reading experts [analyze it], and they’re like, ‘Barron just told Biden to go F himself’? “ Eric recalled of the moment when his sibling shook the former president’s hand and said a few words. (Barron did the same with former vice president Kamala Harris.)
“So one night … I call Barron, I go, ‘Buddy, look, what did you actually say?’ And he goes, you know, like — it was something so polite I almost wouldn’t even get it right — but [something], like, ‘Congratulations and best of luck to you’ — or something like that,” he continued. “Something very respectful.”
Eric went on to recall how he once spoke about the moment with podcaster and entrepreneur Patrick Bet David, telling him that Barron is not one to get confrontational. “He doesn’t have that in him,” he said.
“He’s a nice guy. He’s probably thinking it. He definitely has it up here [motioning to his head], but like, he’s too courteous to actually go out there and say it,” Eric added. “Barron’s a really nice kid,”

The moment between Barron and Biden took place just after Donald was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States, but before his inaugural address.
The address lasted over 30 minutes, and much of the speech entailed rebuking Biden’s administration, while the former president sat just feet away.
Donald said that, under his leadership, he would end what he viewed as censorship on free speech, direct the government to only recognize two genders, ensure students don’t “feel ashamed” by their curriculum and “drill, baby, drill.”
