Very adds 'boutique' fashion selection to women's offer

E-tail giant Very has become the latest major name to add to its fashion offer with a ‘boutique’ range. And this is more than just an elevated-but-small launch. Instead it’s introducing over 100 individual product lines across a number of premium brands, including Elliatt, Castañer and Vivere and the retailer said the new range “offers standout occasion dresses, contemporary designs and minimalist must-haves”.

It’s the latest in a range of category enhancements it’s been introducing to widen choice while giving its customers the ability to “buy everyday fashion fixes and their occasionwear in one transaction. These premium, boutique lines enhance Very’s fashion category, offering a new dimension to the fashion offering”.

Very Group trading director Ben Davidson said that in womenswear, “holiday and occasionwear are two of our biggest focuses over the summer months, so the timing is perfect as a handful of the boutique brands are inspired by the mediterranean, including Castañer which offers the perfect footwear range for the summer months.”

More elevated ranges are a key focus across the fashion sector at present as a significant number of consumers seek higher quality. That’s propelling premium retailers like Reiss to stronger results and others are tapping into the trend, from budget supermarket lines like George at Asda to names such as H&M, Cos, Mango, Zara, Live Unlimited and more.
