A vehicle caught fire and suffered multiple explosions while travelling on a flyover in the Causeway Bay shopping district in Hong Kong on Sunday night.
The vehicle was seen on fire on the eastbound Gloucester Road flyover near Victoria Park at about 7.15pm.
The fire forced a bus following behind, Route 102, to evacuate passengers. Scores of passengers were seen rushing about 200 metres (656 feet) towards the west to exit the flyover.
The burning vehicle emitted heavy smoke and repeated explosions took place.
Police received a report at 7.10pm that a black seven-seater vehicle had caught fire. An ambulance was sent to the scene.
The fire was extinguished by 7.30pm, with the charred frame of the vehicle remaining on the flyover.
