New photos of Tom Hardy and more of the cast of MobLand Season 2 have appeared online. The crime-drama series was created by Ronan Bennett and premiered on Paramount+ on March 30, 2025. The first season has 10 episodes, which finished airing on June 1, 2025. In the same month, Paramount+ renewed MobLand for a sophomore season.
MobLand Season 2 set photos hit the internet
Fresh photos of Tom Hardy and Joanne Froggatt from the London set of MobLand Season 2 are circulating online. Notably, Hardy portrays Harry Da Souza, a fixer working for the Harrigan crime family in the show, whereas Froggatt plays the role of Harry’s wife, Jan.
The star-filled cast of MobLand also includes Pierce Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan, Paddy Considine as Kevin Harrigan, Lara Pulver as Isabella “Bella” Harrigan, Helen Mirren as Maeve Harrigan, Toby Jones as Colin Tattersall, Geoff Bell as Richie Stevenson, Mandeep Dhillon as Seraphina Harrigan, and Anson Boon as Eddie Harrigan. Additionally, Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond have joined the series’ cast for Season 2.
In Season 1, Harry seeks to protect the Harrigans while their war with rivals intensifies. Toward the end of the season, an overwhelmed Jan stabs Harry, and the show doesn’t necessarily clarify whether Harry will survive the ordeal. However, if the photos are any indication, he likely has. However, it’s also possible that this is a flashback or a dream sequence.
Following its premiere, MobLand drew considerable viewership. It has also garnered a 76% approval rating on the review-aggregating site Rotten Tomatoes after 45 reviews.
Back in April 2025, before the first season finished airing and the show had been renewed, Hardy speculated on the plot of future seasons during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “The plan is definitely to see more seasons,” he said. “The question is: Does it become international? There are international elements to organized crime, which are touched on in season one and the control of drugs and ammunition and weapons and people and all kinds of things that go through Europe and from Africa through to South America, Pakistan and the variable commodities that move around Europe.”
