Timothée Chalamet’s Courtside Fashion Streak Should Be Studied

Timothée Chalamet supported his New York Knicks until the very end.

The actor sat courtside at Madison Square Garden this Wednesday night as the local NBA team faced the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals. The game went into overtime, but the Knicks ended up losing 138-135 to the Pacers. Still, Chalamet’s game day style stayed winning.

The A Complete Unknown star supported the New York basketball team in a head-to-toe orange fit (the Knicks’s colors are blue and orange). Up top, he wore a striped orange-and-white bomber jacket with a white collar and sleeves. He layered the rainy-day jacket over a plain white T-shirt and paired it with bright tangerine denim pants with patches of the Chrome Hearts logo in red all over.

He completed the look with tan Timberland boots stamped with Chrome Hearts cross patches in blue and orange (go Knicks!).

Chalamet was seated next to Ben Stiller and a seat away from Tracy Morgan. Many other celebrities, including Olympic gymnast Suni Lee and actor John Hamm, were also there.

At the previous Knicks game, Chalamet sat next to Bad Bunny, and at a game before that, he sat with girlfriend Kylie Jenner and her sister Kendall Jenner.

On every occasion, the actor has made sure to rep the Knicks with his fits. Once, he styled Knicks merch with jorts and work boots. Another time, he showed out in Rick Owens high-top sneakers. And another time, he wore a Chrome Hearts velvet sweatsuit in the Knicks’s colors. (It’s also important to note that to a Lakers game earlier this month, he rocked a tweed Chanel bomber jacket embellished with pearls.)

And while we can’t quite pinpoint the style Chalamet is going for with his game day wardrobe, we can say he is having the most fun.
