Three people shot in the East Village overnight: NYPD

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Three people were shot near a NYCHA development in the East Village early Sunday morning, police said. 

The shooting happened around 3:36 a.m. Sunday near East 6th Street between FDR Drive and Avenue D, near the Wald Houses, according to the NYPD. 

A 41-year-old was shot in the groin, a 35-year-old and a 37-year-old were shot, police said. 

All three were taken to area hospitals in stable condition, police said. No one has been arrested.
