Two actors have joined the cast of The Last of Us Season 3.
HBO’s The Last of Us is based on the popular video game franchise developed by Naughty Dog. The first season premiered in 2023, while The Last of Us Season 2 arrived in 2025. A third season is now in development, though a release date has not yet been set.
Who has joined the cast of The Last of Us Season 3?
Per Deadline, it has been announced that Clea DuVall and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. have both joined the cast of The Last of Us Season 3.
DuVall will play a seraphite in the show, while Lendeborg Jr. has been tapped to play Manny. The Manny character was previously played by Danny Ramirez in The Last of Us Season 2; however, Ramirez had to drop out of Season 3 due to scheduling conflicts.
DuVall is known for playing Stokely “Stokes” Mitchell in 1998’s The Faculty and Graham Eaton in 1999’s But I’m a Cheerleader. Her filmography also includes 1999’s She’s All That, 1999’s Girl, Interrupted, 2001’s Ghosts of Mars, 2003’s 21 Grams, 2007’s Zodiac, 2012’s Argo, and 2020’s Happiest Season, among other titles, while she’s also appeared in TV shows such as Heroes, American Horror Story: Asylum, The Lizzie Borden Chronicles, Better Call Saul, The Handmaid’s Tale, Poker Face, and more.
Lendeborg Jr. starred as Jason Ionello in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home, while he also showed up in the extended cut of 2022’s Spider-Man: NO Way Home. Additionally, his filmography includes 2017’s Brigsby Bear, 2018’s Love, Simon, 2018’s Bumblebee, 2019’s Alita: Battle Angel, 2021’s Night Teeth, and 2022’s American Carnage.
The Last of Us Season 3 comes from showrunner Craig Mazin. Mazin co-created the show with Neil Druckmann, though Druckmann has decided to step away from the show. Season 3 will also see Kaytlin Dever and Bella Ramsey reprise their roles as Abby and Ellie.
