LAKE TOMAHAWK, Wis. (WJFW) — On a cold winter day there’s nothing better than a hot cup of coffee, now residents of Lake Tomahawk will have a new option for their hot drink
The lake house coffee shop in Lake Tomahawk officially opened on December eighth, and since then have been busy serving the area with their specialty coffee and Lotus drinks.
The smell of fresh-brewed coffee is in the air in Lake Tomahawk, as they welcomed the newly opened Lakehouse coffee shop next to the meat market in downtown.
Craig and Jen Tucci, who also own northern grounds coffee shop in Rhinelander, decided to expand their expertise in coffee when they leased the storefront this past fall. Their daughter Mackenzie Tucci has stepped up to run the shop with them and is thankful the community has been so welcoming.
“The lake Tom community has been super great,” said Tucci. “Everyone has been so friendly and so warm and welcoming and we are just so grateful that we opened up in the community that is so involved in the businesses and everyone involved with that.”
The shop serves an array of coffee drinks, including frozen options and is open seven days a week. Specialty lotus energy drinks are also available for a morning caffeine boost for non-coffee drinkers.
“Everyone has been so friendly and super involved,” added Tucci. “And we’re so grateful to have such a great community rallying around us.”
The shop also sells bakery items direct from Butcher shop bake company in Rhinelander, as well as clothing items and souvenirs in their shop area. Although they’ve only recently opened, Lake House coffee shop is quickly becoming a hot spot in the Lake Tomahawk community.
