Embrace Your Sisters announced it raised $47,000 during its 2025 Tea At Two Fashion Show, furthering its mission to support breast cancer patients across the Finger Lakes region.
“Already, we have distributed over $700,000 to breast cancer patients to-date, across our 19-year history,” said Board Member and breast cancer survivor Krista Jackson. “After our Tea At Two Fashion Show, we are positioned to move forward with financial support, thanks to the sponsors, program advertisers, Silent Auction participants and its donors, ticket holders, wine and spirit raffle participants, jewelry pouch purchasers, donors, models, attendees, members, business partners, and our Board!”
The nonprofit serves breast cancer patients in thirteen counties: Monroe, Allegany, Cayuga, Chemung, Livingston, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne, and Yates. Its emergency financial support covers daily living expenses and offers relief during treatment.
The annual fashion show, now a sell-out for four years running, plays a central role in EYS’s fundraising efforts. Photos from the 2025 event are available online, and early planning is encouraged for the 2026 edition.
Embrace Your Sisters operates entirely with a volunteer board and no paid staff. Applications for assistance are available on their website for qualifying patients in need of help with expenses.
