Tesla almost here in ‘toughest car market’, but not the way India’s policymakers wanted
After years of anticipation, Tesla will finally open its first showroom in India on July 15, in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex. A second location in Delhi-NCR is expected to follow. But the road that brought the electric vehicle (EV) giant to Indian shores was anything but linear. There is no factory yet, no formal manufacturing commitment….
