Utopia has released the first trailer for Forge, the upcoming crime movie starring Star Wars’ Kelly Marie Tran, Andie Ju, and more.
“Siblings Raymond and Coco Zhang run a forgery ring. Coerced by a disgraced millionaire, they create counterfeit masterpieces for his family’s collection. FBI agent Emily Lee investigates a new string of art forgeries,” reads the official synopsis for Forge.
Forge is set to release in theaters in Los Angeles on May 15, 2026, at the Landmark Nuart Theatre, and then open in New York at the Quad Cinema, with more markets to come.

What happens in the Forge trailer?
The trailer follows a sibling duo who run a forgery ring for art. At the same time, it highlights Tran’s Emily Lee, an FBI agent who is tasked with investigating the forgeries and bringing them to a stop.
Alongside Tran, Forge also stars Andie Ju (Beef), Brandon Soo Hoo (Tropic Thunder), Edmund Donovan (Civil War), Eva De Dominici (The Cleaning Lady), T.R. Knight (Grey’s Anatomy), Jack Falahee (How to Get Away with Murder), and Sonya Walger (Lost).
The movie is written and directed by Jing Ai Ng, and had its world premiere at 2025’s SXSW Film Festival.
