AMC has set the release date for Season 3 of its hit show Interview with the Vampire, titled The Vampire Lestat. In addition, they unveiled the opening titles of the upcoming installment. Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat gets premiere date and opening titles
AMC has set the release date for The Vampire Lestat, Season 3 of Interview with the Vampire, to June 7, 2026. It will premiere simultaneously on the television network and streaming platform, AMC+. The upcoming installment adapts the second book in Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles novel series.
Moreover, AMC released the opening titles for the upcoming season, featuring the single “All Fall Down.” It is the second official rock single of The Vampire Lestat, following the series’ first one, “Long Face.” The show’s composer, Daniel Hart, composed the original music and lyrics while Sam Reid, who plays Lestat de Lioncourt, performed the song. It is currently available on major digital music platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
“In the upcoming rock and roll centric season, the Vampire Lestat goes on an electric multi-city tour while being haunted by ‘muses’ from his wild and rebellious past,” the official description reads. “As his band’s popularity and star power rises, so does Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population.”
Interview with the Vampire was renewed for Season 3 in June 2024, ahead of the second season finale. A 4-minute teaser dropped at San Diego Comic-Con a month later, showing Lestat reading the first paragraph of the novel.
Meanwhile, last month, IGN Fan Fest shared an exclusive clip in which Lestat played a song on the piano for Jacob Anderson‘s Louis de Pointe du Lac. Afterward, Lestat asks him for feedback, and he responds, “Nice.” Lestat also invites Louis to visit his residence, saying he has a guest room for him. Furthermore, Lestat reacts to the release of Daniel Molloy’s book, Interview with the Vampire, expressing frustration.
Apart from Reid and Anderson, The Vampire Lestat stars Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles, and Jennifer Ehle. Meanwhile, Mark Johnson, Hannah Moscovitch, Christopher Rice, and creator-showrunner Rolin Jones executive produce the series.
