The latest casting update for Netflix’s live-action Scooby-Doo series has sparked a consistent reaction among viewers. The discussion focuses on both the casting choices and one noticeable omission. Furthermore, the announcement has quickly drawn attention as anticipation builds around the project.

The streaming giant confirmed that Mckenna Grace will play Daphne Blake, alongside Tanner Hagen as Shaggy Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley, and Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones. Many viewers have responded positively to the choices, highlighting the resemblance between the actors and the animated characters they are set to portray.

The surprise that they actually did casting matching the actual source material cartoon. now hoping for a show that’s honest to its much beloved cartoon show with similar relationship dynamics.” Another added, “No way… you guys actually brought the characters to life .. i’m shocked.”
