SALINE COUNTY, Ark. – The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a shooting and arrest in the community.
SCSO officials have released little information, other than a social media post stating that a shooting took place on West Longhills Road.

The social media post stated detectives are on the scene and that: “There is no danger to the community as the offender is in custody.”

The extent of injuries, if any, or details about the offender were not disclosed.
A news release from a department spokesperson stated that additional information would be available by midday on Wednesday.
