As much as I love jeans with stretch, they start to lose their shape over time, becoming baggy in odd places and requiring a run in the dryer to tighten back up. Which, for us tall gals, usually means some shrinkage in length…no bueno. Since Easy Jeans are made of traditional denim, I don’t have to worry about that. And, with each wash, they get softer and softer. Combine that with the loose, ‘90s fit, and I practically feel like I’m wearing sweatpants—without looking like it.
The Length Is Unrivaled
Easy Jeans aren’t trying to be a one-size-fits-all, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants situation, and for that I’m grateful. The brand offers three fits—petite, regular and tall—and the regular sizes offer three inseam lengths (short, 29”, regular 30”, long 32.5”). Folks over 5’10”, like me, probably want the “tall” fit over a regular with a long inseam, not just for the 34-inch inseam, but because the knee placement and entire cut has been resized for larger bodies. (As someone who’s bought regular long jeans and torn the knee when bending, I appreciate this touch.)
To be honest, I could’ve probably gone with the regular long here, but I love the extended length tall offers. I can wear heeled boots or wedges without issue—something that rarely happens for me with jeans.
