Even by Beverly Hills standards, Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday bash managed to turn heads… and apparently, rattle some neighbors’ windows.
According to TMZ, police were called to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s $165 million mansion on Saturday night after multiple neighbors complained about the noise from Jenner’s James Bond–themed celebration. Officers reportedly spoke with security and issued a warning about “loud music and disturbances.” The volume wasn’t exactly shocking considering the entertainment: Bruno Mars performed live, and guests reportedly went nuts for the show.
The cops returned later when they discovered that oversized decorative hedges — meant to block off the street for privacy — didn’t have a permit and were literally standing in the way. The makeshift barriers had to be taken down as a parade of chauffeured cars ferried guests home.
And those guests were peak-Hollywood. The party reportedly included Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, Adele, Snoop Dogg, Paris Hilton, Mark Zuckerberg, and even Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — the usuals, you know.
The soirée was hosted by Bezos and Sánchez, who are no strangers to extravagant gatherings — their recent Venice wedding caused a few headaches for locals, too.
Earlier in the week Sanchez Bezos wished Jenner a happy birthday on Instagram.
“Kris, you show up with truth and care. You walk beside your friends through the wild parts and the quiet ones. One of the greatest women I know. Happy birthday Kris. I love you so much,” she wrote.
Jenner replied in the coments section: “I love you so very much and am so grateful and thankful and blessed to have you in my life!!!!”
