A Plano man is being charged with solicitation of videos that led to a thirteen-year-old girl’s death in the United Kingdom.
Khamryn Zyiel Johnson of Plano is facing federal child porn charges. Court documents allege that Johnson had been in contact with the victim via WhatsApp and had requested that she produce videos that included requests for choking with a power cord.
The victim’s mother had found her unresponsive and called an ambulance back in May. Authorities allege that the victim had been on a call with Johnson earlier. The victim had died several days later.
Johnson was picked up by police in June after U.S. Homeland Security was contacted by police from the U.K.
Court documents also indicate that Johnson may have had other child abuse material as far back as 2021.
