OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Police are investigating a fatal gunshot wound in Northwest Oklahoma City.
According to police, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call after 9:00 p.m. on Friday evening in the area of Northwest 5th and Classen. Upon arrival police located a young man inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to his neck.

Police say the man’s friend was trying to get him to the hospital and got lost, then contacted 9-1-1 for help.

The friend is not considered a suspect. Police believe the victim may have been shot near I-44 and Southwest 15th.
No arrests have been made at this time.
