Nvidia (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang is joining Yahoo Finance to discuss the company’s highly anticipated earnings report, as many investors consider the hardware giant to be a bellwether for the broad summer market rally.
The company’s stock price fell more than 3% in after-hours trading after data center revenue fell short of estimates — despite top- and bottom-line expectations beating once again. Nvidia also projected Q3 revenue of $54 billion, plus or minus 2%.
Investors have been keen to see if there was any fallout from the Trump administration’s moves on Nvidia’s China business. In Q1, Nvidia estimated it would take an $8 billion hit if those restrictions were kept in place. Trump has since revoked his prior ban on the sale of Nvidia’s chips to China, but will now require the AI giant to pay the government a 15% cut of sales into the country.
