The Observatory warned that the lowest temperature will drop to 13 degrees in urban areas on Monday (Feb 24) under the influence of the northeast monsoon.
The weather watchdog said a few rain patches are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday under the influence of upper-air disturbances.
According to a nine-day weather forecast, north-to-northeast winds of force 4 to 5 will shift to the east winds of force 5 tomorrow, with occasional force 6 winds offshore and on high ground. Temperatures in several areas will fall below 10 degrees.
However, the lowest temperature will rise to 17 degrees on Thursday (Feb 27), and the weather will continue to warm up through next Sunday (Mar 2) with temperatures ranging from 20 to 24 degrees.
