Wimbledon has always been the chicest of the Grand Slam tournaments, but this year’s reached a fever pitch of star power and style. No other red carpet can compete with the mix of stars this year’s championships drew: European royalty (the Brits and other European monarchs), true Hollywood A-listers (Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett), the new guard (Paul Mescal, Andrew Scott), Gen Z music obsessions (Olivia Rodrigo) and even the debut of celebrity couples (Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro). What makes Wimbledon interesting fashion-wise is there is a dress code but it’s not compulsory — at least off the court — and it serves as the perfect mood board. The result is some of today’s biggest stars looking the best they have in awhile.

We also must add: it’s very refreshing to see A-listers in formal daywear.
