Hulu’s new TV and movie releases for January 12-18, 2026, include the two-episode premiere of Tell Me Lies Season 3 and Fear Factor: House of Fear.
January 13, 2026, sees the first two episodes of Tell Me Lies Season 3 drop on Hulu. Created by Meaghan Oppenheimer, the show — based on Carola Lovering’s 2018 novel of the same name — stars Grace Van Patten and Jackson White in the lead roles. The narrative follows the complex yet toxic relationship between Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco over the course of eight years.
Fear Factor: House of Fear drops on Hulu on January 15, 2026. This is the latest revival of the iconic game show, which originally premiered in 2001 on NBC. Johnny Knoxville, best known for his work on Jackass, hosts the series. The series follows several strangers who coexist in an isolated place with harsh conditions. The strangers deal with extreme challenges and participate in a dangerous social game, where they realize that trusting others is not so easy, and that fear is an essential tool in helping them advance.
Also dropping on Hulu this week are the films Fremont and Twinless.
Fremont is a drama film directed by Babak Jalali. The story follows Donya, an ex-U.S. military translator who works for a Chinese fortune cookie factory. Struggling to put her life on track, she gets an epiphany that prompts her to send a special message in a cookie.
Meanwhile, Twinless is a dark comedy starring Dylan O’Brien. It follows a young man whose grief over his twin brother’s death prompts him to join a support group for bereaved twins.
