Chinese state media reports that a new group has been formed at the very highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party.
Veteran China affairs analyst, Tang Jingyuan, tells NTD it’s a sign that Xi Jinping’s grip on power is weakening.
The group was reportedly established on Monday to oversee major state affairs, after a meeting of China’s Politburo Standing Committee, which serves as the Chinese regime’s top leadership body.
