Nashville stars hoping for cameos from these two well-known celebrities

LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian

911: Nashville finally premiered on ABC on Oct. 9, and what an explosive first episode! We got to meet the Station 113 crew out in Music City as well as witness several high-stakes emergencies, including a powerful tornado hitting a country music festival.

If the rest of the season is anything like the premiere, then we’d say viewers are in for a wild ride full of heart-pounding drama and edge-of-your-seat action. But can they also expect some surprise celebrity cameos? Two of the show’s main stars hope so!

911: Nashville‘s Kimberly Williams-Paisley and LeAnn Rimes, who play the roles of Cammie and Dixie in the procedural drama, spoke with People at the show’s premiere and they revealed who they’d like to see make cameos. Can you guess who they mentioned? Well, it’ll be their real-life husbands, Brad Paisley and Eddie Cibrian.

Paisley is known for his country music career, with multiple chart-topping hits and a long-standing presence in the country music scene. Cibrian, on the other hand, is best known for his roles in television dramas like CSI: Miami and Rosewood, as well as his steady work in film.

Williams-Paisley stated that her husband would probably be willing to appear on the show and even joked that she’s already imagined a fun scenario for him. She imagines something dramatic, like his character being in trouble or having an accident, so that her Cammie character could swoop in and save the day.

“He could, he’d probably be open to it. I said we should put him in turmoil, put him in an accident or crisis of some kind and let me save the day. That would make me feel good.”

Honestly, I’d personally like to see this happen. So picture this: Brad’s character somehow gets himself into a wildly over-the-top situation. Maybe he finds himself stuck atop a runaway parade float, spinning dangerously through the streets of Nashville, as panicked festival-goers scatter in every direction. Meanwhile, Cammie, ever the heroic 911 dispatcher, is calmly barking orders over her headset, coordinating a daring rescue, and making split-second decisions that could save him. Don’t you think that would be entertaining to watch?

When it comes to Cibrian, Rimes stated that she would be excited if her husband made a guest appearance on 911: Nashville. She revealed that they’ve even discussed the idea before. That said, it looks like there’s a good chance fans could see Cibrian make a cameo. Fingers crossed!

“I would love it. Yes. I know that we have talked about that, so hopefully we’ll drag him on here soon.”

Do these cameos seem far-fetched? Not really. The first episode featured a cameo from real-life country music singer Kane Brown, so it wouldn’t be too surprising if more big-name stars, like Paisley or Cibrian, make guest appearances later in the season. It would definitely add an extra layer of excitement and fun for viewers!

A new episode of 911: Nashville season 1 airs on ABC every Thursday at 9/8c.
