Fast X begins streaming on Peacock in March
Starting Sunday, March 15, 2026, Fast X will stream on Peacock (via ComicBook.com).
It is the tenth installment in the Fast & Furious franchise and serves as the first part of the concluding arc. The final film, Fast Forever, is scheduled for release on March 17, 2028. Vin Diesel announced the date on his Instagram account earlier this month.
Fast X follows Dominic Toretto and his crew as their past catches up to them. Years earlier, they stole a fortune in Rio while taking down drug lord Hernan Reyes in Fast Five. Unknown to them, Reyes’ son Dante survived the incident and returned to exact revenge. Additionally, during the post-credits scene, the film featured cameos from Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot. They are expected to appear in the next film as well.
Louis Leterrier directed the film from a script by Dan Mazeau, Justin Lin, and Zach Dean. The movie features an expansive cast, including Diesel, Momoa, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, John Cena, Charlize Theron, and Brie Larson.
Despite mixed-to-negative critical reception, the film grossed roughly $704 million worldwide, per Box Office Mojo. On Rotten Tomatoes, it currently has a 56% Tomatometer score and an 84% Popcornmeter score.
In 2023, a standalone sequel starring Johnson and Momoa was announced (via Movie Web). Reportedly, it was titled Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Reyes and would’ve taken place between the 10th and 11th film. However, the sequel’s fate became uncertain after Fast Forever faced significant budget issues. While Diesel revealed that the issue with the final film has been resolved, there has been little information about the supposed standalone sequel.
