WALLACE, N.C. (WECT) – The 16th annual Hope For The Warriors Celebrity Invitational will be held next month at River Landing.
The event invites celebrities, military leaders and the community to honor the country’s heroes.
According to the organization, MLB legends Johnny Bench and Doug Flynn, along with several athletes, media personalities, and entertainers, will be attending this year.
The event is scheduled as follows:
Saturday, August 23: Celebrity & Flag Officer Dinner at 5 p.m. followed by a Celebrity Host Meet & Greet at Mad Boar, Meade Room at 6 p.m. with Johnny Bench, Doug Flynn & Craig Conover providing live entertainment at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, August 24: Par 3 Tee times throughout this window, no shotgun from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Guests can enjoy Warrior Night at Mad Boar, Celtic Court from 5 to 6 p.m. with Cocktail Reception at 6 to 9 p.m. and an after party.
Monday, August 25: Golf Day will be held with registration and breakfast kicking off the day at 7 a.m., and opening ceremonies at 9 a.m. The shotgun start begins at 9:30 a.m. with lunch served at 2:30 p.m. and Karaoke at the Clubhouse at 7 p.m.
