Learning to eat healthy is one thing senior citizens can do to have a better lifestyle, and there are easy ways to do it, says Shania Bradley, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program educator at the Marshall County Extension office in Marysville.
One of the best tips for eating healthy is to create a balanced meal, she said. It should consist of half of the meal being fruits and vegetables, one-quarter lean protein and the other one quarter grains.
