General Hospital Spoilers & Recap: [Spoiler] Returned to Port Charles on Dec. 5

Here’s a recap and spoilers for all that happened in General Hospital’s December 5 episode. Last week ended on a high note with the return of a dangerous person. Meanwhile, Sidwell uses his leverage against Sonny, and Joss learns the truth about Vaughn.

Spoilers for what happened on General Hospital on December 5, 2025

Jason takes care of Britt

Britt is still tipsy from the drinks she had, so Jason takes her back to her home. When she tries and fails to take her medicine, Jason helps and comforts her. After Britt goes to sleep, he watches over her from the side.

Joss confides in Trina

At Joss’s apartment, Trina wakes from a noise and sees that it was Joss. The latter admits that she wanted to avoid being there due to Kai’s presence. She also confesses to sleeping with Vaughn and is now upset that he’s not returning her messages. Before they can discuss it further, Joss gets a text message and leaves. Afterward, Kai and Trina share a heartfelt moment.

Sidwell blackmails Sonny

Sidwells confronts Sonny at his home with the photographs showing him and Laura with Dalton’s body. He threatens to expose them if they don’t cooperate. He also asks for Sonny’s piers and says that if anything happens to him or Marco, the cops will get their hands on the photos. After Sidwell leaves, Sonny calls Laura to comfort her.

Strained family relationship

Carly shares with Jack that she missed Lucas on Thanksgiving. Later, she goes to the hospital to meet Lucas and give him the leftover pie. Lucas says that the only reason he didn’t come to Thanksgiving is that she didn’t invite Marco. So, unless she comes to terms with Lucas dating Marco, things won’t change between them.

Jack tells Joss the truth

Joss meets up with Jack at his office, where she reveals that she’s the one who gave Gio and Emma the address to Dalton’s secret lab. Jack isn’t happy about it and threatens her with a transfer. He also reveals that she sent away Vaughn for disobeying orders. The two get into a heated exchange when Jacks talks about the importance of getting his hand on Dalton’s secret experiment. When Joss asks why WSB would need it, he says it’s classified.

Laura’s nightmares

Meanwhile, Laura is having a nightmare in which both Cyrus and Esme appear. While Cyrus urges her to come clean to the cops, Esme says that she’ll take away Ace. Laura wakes up, and soon, Kevin returns home, only to see her crying. She tells him about Sidwell’s blackmailing and thinking about surrendering herself to the cops. However, Kevin doesn’t think it’s a good idea since it also involves Sonny.

A shocking return

Carly returns from the hospital and finds someone outside the house. It turns out to be Valentin, who has somehow escaped and doesn’t look to be in great shape.
