A few tennis greats were also present at the Arthur Ashe Stadium, namely, Martina Navratilova, Marat Safin, Ivan Lendl, and Stefan Edberg, all of whom have won the US Open in singles and/or doubles during their respective careers.
Safin was present at the tournament as he was coaching compatriot Andrey Rublev. The World No. 15 reached the fourth round of the New York Major before losing to eventual semifinalist Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets.
Earlier during the day, Jimmy Connors and John McEnroe were spotted meeting Jannik Sinner ahead of the final.
