Fast & Furious Star Joins Prime Video’s Star-Studded Cop TV Show

A Fast & Furious actress is set to star in Prime Video’s newest series, Bishop. She will join the likes of John Malkovich, Joel Kinnaman, and Jennifer Jason Leigh in a star-studded cop thriller.

What Fast & Furious star is joining the Bishop cast?

The upcoming series, an original idea from Little Marvin and Tony Saltzman, has tapped Jordana Brewster to join the stacked lineup. She will be playing a character named Kat Clairborne, a veteran inspector of the San Francisco Police Department.

Kinnaman will portray the titular homicide detective Bishop Graves, while Malkovich will play Bishop’s father, Lincoln Graves. Leigh, whose involvement in the show was announced a day before the new cast announcement, is set to play Lincoln Graves’ sister, Jillian Graves.

Bishop was picked up at Prime Video in September 2025. It will center around the title character, who embarks on a dangerous journey to uncover the killings within San Francisco. He suspects that his father, a powerful man, may be behind all of the murders.

The logline reads as follows:

“Homicide detective Bishop Graves (Kinnaman) – brilliant, battle-scarred – will put all of his skills to the test in the hunt for an elusive killer targeting San Francisco’s moneyed class. As this increasingly audacious killer develops a devoted following among the city’s powerless, Bishop becomes convinced these murders connect back to SF’s most powerful man, his own father, Lincoln Graves (Malkovich).”

Best known for her role as Mia Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise, having first appeared in the first installment, The Fast and the Furious, in 2001. Brewster’s other movie and television credits include The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Lethal Weapon, Secrets and Lies, On Our Way, Dallas, Cellar Door, and Neon.

Brewster’s most recent project was in 2025, playing Detective Jeanine Shaw in Sony’s romantic comedy slasher Heart Eyes

Other details about Bishop remain under wraps.
