The Department of Public Health and Social Services, in partnership with the Guam Fire Department and local emergency medical services agencies, hosted the EMS for Children Day Health Fair on Wednesday at Micronesia Mall in Dededo as part of EMS Week 2025.
The event featured educational displays, hands-on CPR demonstrations, Stop the Bleed training and activities that taught children how to call 911. The health fair highlighted the weeklong celebration themed “Celebrating Our Unsung Heroes,” which honored Guam’s emergency medical technicians, advanced emergency medical technicians and paramedics through various events across the island.
