Major Shutdown! Several users faced problem logging into Microsoft service on Wednesday when several services of the company went down. Due to the major outage, Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams, Word, Excel, and even the Microsoft Store to went down. Users took to social media platforms and reported facing problems In login and dashboard freezing.

As per Downdetector.com, a website that monitors issues and outages of other sites and apps, a major technical fault in the Azure cloud service has affected several users across the world. The outage also affected other Microsoft platforms like Microsoft 365, Teams, and OneDrive.

Microsoft 365 Down For 9,000 Users

According to reports, approx 9,000 users suffered as Microsoft 365 went down, while over 16,600 Azure users reported issues. Microsoft stated that its technical team is investigating the root cause.

Several Businesses Affected For Hours

As per Downdetector’s live outage map, due to the outage several sectors like tech, retail, and gaming were affected for hours. Minecraft servers were down for hours, demonstrating the severity of the outage.
