President Donald Trump is making a couple of stops in the Greater Cincinnati area this week.
On Wednesday, March 11, Trump is expected to speak at a pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing plant just north of Cincinnati, as well as at a packaging facility near the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
Here’s everything we know about the president’s visits to the Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky regions.
When and where will President Trump be in Greater Cincinnati?
Trump will visit Thermo Fisher Scientific at 2110 E. Galbraith Road in the Cincinnati suburb of Reading on Wednesday, March 11. An exact time for when Trump is scheduled to be there has not been announced.
On the same day, the president will visit the Verst Logistics Contract Packaging Facility, a logistics and packing facility in Hebron, according to a White House invitation reviewed by The Louisville Courier Journal that was sent to supporters by U.S. Rep. Andy Barr’s Senate campaign office.
The facility is located at 2200 Gateway Blvd near Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, locally known as CVG. A guest registration link posted by the White House says doors for the event will open at 1 p.m.
Why is Trump coming to the Cincinnati area?
At Thermo Fisher Scientific, Trump will discuss TrumpRx.gov, which aims to help Americans purchase prescription drugs at lower prices.
“The president will tout that massively popular policy and the rest of his Administration’s aggressive efforts to lower prices and make America more affordable.” White House spokeswoman Liz Huston said in a statement.
As for the visit in Hebron, the White House invitation reviewed by The Louisville Courier Journal includes no information about the purpose of his visit but notes the president will make “remarks.”
The Republican Party of Kentucky also announced Trump’s visit in a Facebook post on March 8, saying, “Join us Wednesday as President Trump lays out the work he’s doing to make America affordable again and the plan Republicans have to keep our country moving forward.”
Northern Kentucky has been in the president’s sights for a while — the region is represented in Congress by U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie, who has been caught in a bitter feud with Trump and is up for reelection this year. The president has endorsed Massie’s Republican primary opponent, Ed Gallrein, with the race a little more than two months away.
Massie has not been shy about voting against the president in some instances over the years, but the dispute has reached a fever pitch since last fall, when the congressman helped lead the push for the release of millions of files related to the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, the billionaire sex trafficker with ties to many powerful people who died by suicide in jail in 2019.
What is TrumpRx?
TrumpRx.gov is a government website that allows people to buy drugs from certain companies at a discounted price.
In a series of Oval Office announcements in 2025, Trump touted more than a dozen deals with pharmaceutical industry giants to sell discounted medications to Medicaid or TrumpRx.
In each of the deals, the Trump administration agreed to forego planned pharmaceutical industry tariffs in exchange for the drug companies selling products at discounted prices to Medicaid and direct to consumers via TrumpRx.
What is Thermo Fisher Scientific?
Thermo Fisher Scientific is a pharmaceutical and biotechnology research company with a manufacturing location in Reading, Ohio.
Are either of Trump’s events open to the public?
Trump’s speaking engagement at The Verst Logistics Contract Packaging Facility is open to those who register for the event beforehand.
It’s unclear whether Trump’s visit to Thermo Fisher Scientific is open to the public.

When was the last time Trump visited Greater Cincinnati?
Trump last visited Northern Kentucky when he was spotted at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in May 2024.
While the president did not have a public event during the visit, about a dozen supporters greeted him with American and “Trump 2024” flags.
Vice President JD Vance had not yet been chosen as Trump’s running mate at this point, but the two held a lunch discussion in the sprawling Indian Hill mansion of Peggy Gardner Johns, a member of one of Cincinnati’s wealthiest families who founded Cintas, a uniform, cleaning supply and safety products company.
