7th May 2025 – (Hong Kong) Alliance Medical Group has deactivated its social media accounts, leaving employees unresponsive to customer inquiries regarding its operational status. Over a thousand customers are now concerned about their remaining vaccinations and are demanding refunds. Reports indicate that customs authorities have arrested at least one individual, including a director surnamed Chu.
The Consumer Council has confirmed it has received 773 complaints related to the suspected closure of Alliance Medical Group, amounting to a total of HK$4.257 million. The highest individual claim is for HK$23,550, with the average complaint amounting to HK$5,508. The Council has attempted to contact the group and is urging them to clarify their business situation and outline next steps.
