The blistering rally in Chinese equities has catapulted nine of the nation’s tycoons back into the ranks of the world’s wealthiest.
There were 55 Chinese business people included in the 500-member Bloomberg Billionaires Index as of the end of Tuesday. That compares with 46 on Sept. 23, just before the surge in China-linked stocks was triggered by President Xi Jinping’s government announcing a series of economic, financial and market support measures.
