When is the Paramount+ release date for Cheech & Chong’s 2025 movie?
It has now been announced that Cheech & Chong’s Last Movie will appropriately be available to stream on the Paramount+ streaming service this 4/20 — April 20, 2026.
“Told through a mix of roadtrip footage, animation and archival clips, Cheech & Chong’s Last Movie follows the pair as they recall their lives from childhood to joining forces in the 1960s, all the way until their breakup in the 1980s,” a description of the film reads.
Bushell said in a statement, “We’re coming home. Cheech & Chong’s first movie Up In Smoke was released by Paramount back in 1978. We cannot think of a better partner to premiere Cheech & Chong’s Last Movie on streaming. They Keep Smokin’!”
Robbi Chong produces Cheech & Chong’s Last Movie alongside Bushell. John Paul DeJoria, Gary Haseley, Cleo Segura Sherrel, and Christian Selleron serve as executive producers.
Marin told ComingSoon in an exclusive interview about the movie and his relationship with Chong, “We’re brothers. We’re not best friends. You know, like we grew up together. We’re brothers, and we treated each other like brothers. Sometimes you want your brother to shut up, and sometimes you want your brother to help you [laughs]. So that’s kind of how we how we grew up, is we both understood that at the beginning ’cause I mean, viewing the conversation we’re having in this movie is no different from any conversation we might’ve had throughout our career. We were always kind of battling, and that’s kind of where the pearl emerges, when there’s irritation in the shell.”
