From Hollywood royalty to soap stars, and boxers to football legends, the region has welcomed a star-studded lineup over the past several months, and fans have been loving every minute.

The actors, known for their roles as Dr Owen Hunt and Maya Bishop, shared snaps on Instagram posing near Saltburn Bank and Huntcliff, and strolling hand-in-hand along the Promenade.

McKidd, originally from Elgin, Scotland, clearly knew the perfect spots to show his Californian co-star, with eagle-eyed followers also spotting several scenic local landmarks in their gallery of festive photos.

Their visit coincided with the announcement of Saltburn and Redcar winning Seaside Awards for their cleanliness, safety, and eco-consciousness, two of just 66 beaches nationwide to receive the accolade.

Miller, who often visits the coast, praised the area, saying: “We love it here. We come all the time. People are so friendly and it’s a lovely place to come.”

Grammer, whose wife Kayte Walsh hails from Hartlepool, chatted with staff and posed for photos in what was described as a relaxed and down-to-earth visit.

The moment was shared on the dealership’s Instagram, captioned: “Kelsey Grammer aka Frasier Supercar Shopping at Acklam Cars.”

Kamara walked a mile alongside her in support of her effort to raise £100,000 for five cancer-related charities, calling her “an inspiration.”

Green, a Northumberland native, continues to use his platform to spotlight the region’s hidden gems and promote wellness through nature.

Boyband Duo Dine in Style in Gateshead

Pop stars Keith Duffy (Boyzone) and Brian McFadden (Westlife), now performing as Boyzlife, were spotted enjoying a pre-show curry at Raval Indian Brasserie near the Tyne Bridge before headlining at The Glasshouse (formerly Sage Gateshead).

The pair mingled with diners and praised the award-winning food, calling it “some of the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time.”
