A near win
I needed one of three things to happen with Chloë Sevigny’s Saint Laurent halter-neck velvet dress for me to love this outing. A removal of the sleeves, or a removal of the puffs and the sleeves, strappy sandals, and a less aging hairstyle. Actually, I think the latter two are my biggest issue with this look, plus I also find the Tiffany & Co. Mini Cooper bracelet over the sleeve jarring. This felt like a mini step back when she’s been on such a roll since Sundance. Saint Laurent Régine pumps, Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Maltese Cross clips and rings completed her look.

Sharp tux, questionable hair choices
While I loved Nicholas Alexander Chavez in this Saint Laurent classic tuxedo sans tie — styled with Gabriel derbies and David Yurman jewels — I was horrified by the new hairstyle.

Charlie Hunnam fared much better in a navy Saint Laurent suit styled with Wyatt boots and David Yurman jewels, serving up an easy, relaxed classic.
