Celebrities are back in blue jeans this fall.

From fashion week events and award show red carpets to paparazzi sightings on the street, the closet staple has been getting a lot of wear time this season.

Charli XCX stepped out in New York City wearing Acne Studio’s heavily washed men’s jeans. Jennifer Lawrence paired worn-in jeans with a Dior logo belt in Paris. Tracee Ellis Ross continued to showcase her eye for bold denim in a pair of deconstructed wide-leg jeans.

Denim coordinates continue to be popular. Naomi Campbell attended a 50th anniversary event for Zara in Paris sporting barrel-shaped jeans and a trendy denim military jacket. Jaden Smith wore an oversized denim safari jacket by Louis Vuitton and matching jeans. Actress Emma Myers was also seen in a Louis Vuitton set—a V-neck crop top and jacquard jeans.

There are some outliers to the back-to-basics looks.

Blue-gray tints and faded black washes were popular at MTV’s VMAs, where Marko Monro, Carter Gregory and Ace Greene stepped out in moody and roomy fits. Monroe brought one of his custom Labubu designs—a moon man—to the red carpet as well. Mexican songwriter and artist Armenta attended tthe 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards wearing a matching washed black jacket and jeans with ghost patchwork.

Denim dresses and gowns—an emerging Spring/Summer 2026 trend—have also made an appearance on red carpets. In Los Angeles, actress Ava Morse stepped out in fur-trimmed dark wash gown. In Rome, X-Factor Italia talent Mimì Caruso donned an off-the-shoulder dress in dark indigo.
